Armin Dogic
Vice President | Focus: Health Care - Education - CultureArmin Đogić serves as Vice President of the Bosnian Herzegovinians Association of Iowa and is a Doctor of Pharmacy Candidate at Drake University, graduating in May 2026. Upon graduation, he will continue his pharmacy career with Medicap Pharmacy. Armin is a passionate leader dedicated to community, education, and youth empowerment. His journey in pharmacy began in a community pharmacy during high school and was shaped by his experiences throughout the pandemic. Throughout his six-year academic journey, he has been actively involved in campus leadership roles, conferences, and international programs. He has served as a first-generation college student leader, advocating for student support, while also leading pharmacy organizations focused on equity and professional leadership. Through public speaking, Armin has used his voice to inspire others, share stories, and creatively represent both his profession and community with confidence. More recently, he creates health videos in Bosnian, allowing access to public health content for the community. His leadership and community impact have been recognized through multiple campus and national awards honoring his dedication to service and advocacy. As Vice President, Armin leads meetings and helps shape the organization’s vision while maintaining a strong, sustainable foundation. He hopes to lead by example and help the next generation of Bosnian-Americans succeed while embracing their identity with pride. Through his work in health, education, and service, he is committed to building a lasting impact for the Bosnian community in Iowa.
