Our organization was founded to celebrate, support, encourage, and elevate the Bosnian community across Iowa. For decades, Bosnian families have made Iowa their home, embodying resilience, culture, entrepreneurship, and a profound commitment to community.

After arriving in the United States in search of safety and opportunity, Bosnians across Iowa have worked tirelessly to rebuild their lives, strengthening local economies, opening small businesses, creating jobs, and enriching the cultural tapestry that makes our communities vibrant and diverse.

From restaurants and construction companies to healthcare, education, manufacturing, and public service, Bosnian Americans have played a pivotal role in shaping Iowa’s growth and success.
