Meet Mirza

Mirza Alibašić serves as Director of Technology, bringing expertise in technology, cybersecurity, and compliance. He has built his career with leading firms including RSM and KPMG, and currently serves as a Director at Riveron, where he develops expertise in technology, IT audit, GRC, and cybersecurity. Throughout his career, Mirza has worked with organizations across industries, helping design, strengthen, and scale secure and compliant systems while simplifying complex technical challenges to drive practical results. Originally from Doboj, he is deeply connected to his roots and passionate about fostering community and creating opportunities for connection. Now based in Des Moines and a proud graduate of Iowa State University, he is committed to contributing to the growth and impact of both the local and Bosnian-American community. Through his role, Mirza combines technical expertise with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to support the organization’s mission. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and staying overly invested in sports.
